Who we are

Brimmy: Feelings Diary (“Brimmy”, “the app”) is made by Stanmash Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: hello@stanmash.dev.

What stays on your device

Everything you write in Brimmy — feelings, events, notes, body sensations, questions for your therapist, meeting dates and your settings — is stored only in the app’s storage on your iPhone. We cannot see, access or recover it.

Like other app data, it may be included in your device backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) if you have turned device backups on. Those backups are handled by Apple under your Apple Account settings, not by us.

What we collect

Nothing. Brimmy does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting services or third-party SDKs, and it does not make network requests of its own.

Files you export

You can save a backup of your diary (JSON), export a spreadsheet (CSV) or share a PDF. These files are created only when you ask and go only where you choose — for example the Files app, iCloud Drive or a message to your therapist. After that, they are subject to the privacy terms of the place you saved or sent them to.

Purchases

Brimmy Plus is sold through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your payment details. Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymised sales reports in App Store Connect. The app checks your purchase status with the App Store on your device.

Face ID

If you turn on Face ID, the check is performed by iOS. The app only receives a yes-or-no result and never has access to your biometric data.

Links

The “Need help right now?” screen can start a phone call or text to a helpline, or open findahelpline.com in Safari. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete All Data removes your diary from the app. Deleting the app removes it as well. Files you exported yourself are not affected.

Children

Brimmy is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Your data is fully under your control on your device. If you have any questions, write to hello@stanmash.dev.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. If Brimmy ever starts collecting any data, we will say so here and in the App Store before that version is released.
